ERS Establishes Company in China: ERS Shanghai Semiconductor & Electronics Co. Ltd.

ERS electronic, the leader in thermal management solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing industry, announced today the establishment of a Chinese subsidiary: ERS Shanghai Semiconductor & Electronics Co. Ltd. The company is located in the Jiading District, Shanghai and, together with the ERS China Laboratory, it provides customers and partners with sales, order processing, technical support and sample demonstration and other related services.

Since 2018, ERS China has grown from a one-person office to a well-rounded team. In the past six years of business development in the region, ERS’s technology and products have been widely acclaimed and won the trust and support of an increasing number of customers. With the rapid growth in demand, the ERS management decided to set up a company in China.

“The company’s decision further strengthens ERS’s position in China, demonstrates strong support for our local team, and highlights the value we place on China’s semiconductor market,” Zhou Xiang, General Manager of ERS China, said. “This not only facilitates more timely and improved services and guarantees for our customers but also grants us more flexibility. For example, customers can now experience ERS technologies directly in Shanghai, where our engineers can demonstrate our machines on-site for our customers.”

Laurent Giai-Miniet, CEO of ERS, said, “ERS has always been committed to providing industry-leading thermal management solutions for wafer test and Advanced Packaging equipment to our customers around the world. By establishing a company in China we can better meet the demand of the Chinese market and provide services that are tailored to the needs of our customers.”

The establishment of ERS Shanghai Co. Ltd. is another milestone in the history of the company. ERS looks forward to working closely with the Chinese market to provide better and more accessible services to its customers and to promote the development of the semiconductor industry.
