Sales Director North America

The Mission

As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing and leading the day-to-day revenue and sales activities for ERS America. Your duties will include several aspects of sales such as assisting, reporting, selling within a defined sales region, monitoring, managing, providing feedback and recommendations for growth.

You will also be responsible for building executive relationships with clients and partners and ensuring overall client satisfaction at the highest level. Reporting to the CEO and CSMO, the North America Sales Director is responsible for expanding ERS’ business and helping take the North American region’s sales to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. You own and hit or exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory and accounts, with ERS partners.
  • Defining, implementing, and managing processes for pipeline management, forecasting, strategic account development and performance management. Establishing sales activity targets for such things as face to face call frequency, demo activity, proposal activity, prospect calling, pipeline size and deal closure.
  • Building and maintaining healthy, long-lasting customer relationships at all levels.
  • Partnering with customers to understand their specific needs and objective and effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Further developing ERS America Sales team, recruiting high-calibre talent starting from field support, defining the optimal structure and providing meaningful input to compensation plans. You keep territories filled and ensure optimal sales capacity, within budget constraints.

Experience

  • A proven track record of sales leadership success: a track record of selling, leading sales teams and delivering sales performance. Consistently high performance from year to year is key.
  • Solution / Offering Knowledge & Expertise: Understands or able to quickly understand the Tool Lifecycle management business and related solutions. Can clearly and succinctly articulate the value proposition for what ERS does well.
  • Sales Management process expertise: Defines, implements and manages processes for pipeline management, forecasting, strategic account development and performance management.
  • Industry Knowledge & Expertise: Understands the American semiconductor market landscape, industry trends and has relationships with key influencers. Scope includes competitors, partners, consultants, trade organizations, and major customers. Preferably five to ten years’ sales experience in the semiconductor back-end (wafer probing ideally) industry.

Other Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to fully utilize Microsoft Office and relevant tools
  • University degree in Electronic Engineering or a similar field of studies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have a valid working permit in the USA

Service Technician

Responsibilities

  • Installation work, as well as construction and alteration of electro-mechanical machines and devices (chuck, chiller and controller)
  • Service support for our customers, following our internal guidelines
  • Frequent reporting to our Head of Service and Repair
  • Project execution

Qualification and skill requirements

  • Successfully attained university/college degree in Electronics Repair or Industry Mechanics
  • Work experience from installation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of high-accuracy thermal controllers, the related measurement devices and the process of semiconductor production.
  • Quick recognition of intricate, technical coherences
  • Customer-oriented, independent and competent
  • Organisational and time-management skills, as well as ability to prioritize based on assessment of urgency
  • Willingness to travel to customer’s location, and do on-call support

Technician for assembly and test

Responsibilities

  • Organisation and execution of final testing of our electrotechnical products (chuck, chiller and controller)
  • Evaluation and documentation of the test results
  • Final assembly of the products on a case-by-case basis
  • Daily reporting to the head of production
  • Control of packaging and shipment

Qualification and skill requirements

  • Successfully completed education as technician/craftsman or skilled worked with several years of relevant work experience.
  • Interest in precision mechanics, electronics, software and measurement engineering
  • Experience with testing of electromechanical constructions
  • Customer-oriented, and willingness to work independently with full accountability
  • Good organisational skills and exceptional quality awareness
  • High proficiency in English and German
  • Willingness to occasionally work overtime

Electronic Engineer HW & SW (Intern Position)

Responsibilities

  • Hardware and software design.
  • Documenting changes and updating manuals.
  • Executing tests on our measurements systems.
  • Generating test results, as well as troubleshooting and analyzing any errors in the test results.
  • Working with our engineers on the development of hardware and software content from development to release, according to the agreed-upon schedule

Qualification and skill requirements

  • Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and control engineering is desired.
  • Good understanding of analogue and digital hardware design.
  • Working experience with ARM Cortex Micro Controller.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio.
  • Ability to safely handle measurement and control instruments.

Marketing Assistant (Intern Position)

Responsibilities

  • Help organize exhibition appearances from the ground up book venues, coordinate designers and booth builders, contact journalists and business partners, imagine and buy creative give-aways, prepare managing directors for the fair.
  • Write press releases for upcoming product launches, exhibition appearances, and other company news.
  • Head the content marketing for the ERS social networking presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Prepare mailers in HTML, make brochures by formatting content and graphics; manage the development of our new website.
  • Producing reports on the Assemble Semiconductor Test equipment by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarising information, graphs, and presentations available online and through industry reports.
  • Support sales presentations by assembling proposals, PowerPoint slides concerning company presentation, product features and benefits; compiling account and competitor analyses.
  • Help accomplish the ERS marketing and business organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.

Supply Chain Assistant (Intern Position)

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
  • Reconcile physically all supply chain products with that of invoices and supply documents
  • Supply materials on time to meet production schedules and deadlines
  • Optimize warehouse functions
  • Overviewing production schedule
  • Ensuring that there are enough parts for production operations

Design Engineering Placement (Intern Position)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare plans with detailed drawings – technical or otherwise and determine project specifications and cost estimates by contacting sources for deliberation
  • Execute engineering experiments to create workable solutions
  • Conducts independent practical lab work including electrical, mechanical and experimental work with technical drawings or schematics as a reference.
  • Ensure tasks are completed within a reasonable time period and within the specified budget
  • Present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders and clients as necessary
  • Intensive use of CREO and SAGE including training
  • Independently seek out ways to benefit the company by finding out where assistance is needed and thus presenting a helping hand wherever applicable

Qualification and skill requirements

  • Willingness to engage in practical work including soldering and building of ERS products
  • Ability to competently navigate CAD software (namely, CREO)
  • Ability to learn independently and quickly
  • Ease of adaptation to new environments and situations
  • Some German language skill would benefit the candidate immensely
