Technical Buyer (m/f/d), Full-time
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Handling the entire procurement process in global purchasing projects, from inquiries and order placement to delivery date tracking and inventory monitoring in the ERP system
- Managing complex procurement scenarios such as make-or-buy, chained external production, multisourcing, Kanban, consignment, safety stock, etc.
- Negotiating the best possible prices and framework agreements, taking into account demanding technical requirements and quality standards
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure medium to long-term requirements and technical quality parameters are met
- Taking proactive action and, if necessary, coordinating and escalating delivery bottlenecks
- Processing complaints and returns in cooperation with internal departments.
- Delivery note/invoice control, price maintenance, and inventory participation.
- Close coordination with production, warehouse, work preparation, development, and finance.
- Data analysis and preparation from procurement.
- Assistance with monthly and annual financial statements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Technical training or degree with additional commercial qualifications or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position in the manufacturing industry for complex products
- High technical affinity (metalworking technologies, precision engineering, electronics, pneumatics)
- Excellent experience in using MS Excel and ERP systems (preferably Business Central)
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English (at least C1)
- Flexible and solution-oriented
- Ability to work independently and high reliability
- Very good negotiation skills, as well as an independent and committed approach to work
- Enjoy working in a labor-intensive, fast-paced international environment
