Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d)

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and monitor the entire supply chain strategy with a focus on quality, cost and time
• Optimize internal and external flow of goods (extended workbench)
• Identify and develop new suppliers as well as build and maintain supplier relationships
• Define and implement a purchasing strategy with regard to, among other things, requirements, inventories, delivery times, etc.
• Leading a team of currently 7 employees
• Determining the most important KPIs and defining and tracking the resulting measures
• Developing solution proposals for process improvements in the supply chain area
• Train employees and colleagues on defined processes (warehouse, purchasing)
• Working closely with teams from all areas (including order processing, development, production, controlling)

Requirements and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance or similar relevant field
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a supply chain manager
• Several years of leadership experience as a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d), ideally in an internationally oriented manufacturing company
• Practical experience with supply chain management software and/or ERP system
• Sense of responsibility and awareness of the impact your performance has on the company’s success
• Critical thinking with problem solving skills
• Good time management skills
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with various communication partners across all media
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
