Production Planner (m/f/d)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization
  • Collaborate with production teams, and sales to understand demand forecast data and plan production needs.
  • Strategic planning of production orders based on customer requirements.
  • Scheduling production orders taking into account material availability and capacity utilization
  • Creation of the rough planning horizon (annual planning) in coordination with the Sales, Purchasing and other interface departments
  • Creation of the detailed planning horizon in close coordination with the MRP, Sales and Operations departments
  • Definition of optimal batch sizes
  • You act as the central point of contact for inquiries regarding the coordination of delivery schedules for customer orders and production orders.
  • Monitoring the production schedule and internal communication in the event of delays
  • Creating and maintaining articles, parts lists and work plans
  • Active management of changes in ongoing production
  • Collaboration with design and production teams to optimize and increase efficiency for smooth production
  • Completion notification of production orders incl. cost monitoring
  • Regular communication with various internal departments, including order processing, purchasing, design, production and finance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Technical training or completed studies with a focus on technology/production/business administration
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in the use of ERP systems
  • Very good knowledge of EXCEL and SHAREPOINT
  • Good communication and management skills across different departments
  • Enthusiasm for technical details
  • Distinctive methodical, systematic way of working
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
