Production Manager (m/f/d)

As a Production Manager, you are the backbone of our manufacturing units. It involves capacity planning, coordination and control of all aspects of production in order to manufacture our products efficiently and economically.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance: You ensure that production processes strictly comply with regulatory standards to guarantee product safety and quality.
  • Process optimization: To remain competitive and cost-efficient, you will use technology, optimized workflows and lean management to continuously improve processes.
  • Quality control: You implement quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with strict quality standards for all products.
  • People Management: You will be responsible for planning, training and managing the production team to ensure performance standards.
  • Risk management: you will identify and minimize operational, financial or security risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate damage.
  • Budget management: You will monitor the production department’s budget to control costs without compromising quality or compliance.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  •  At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Several years of experience (at least 3 years) in personnel management
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods is desirable
  • Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to react quickly to change in a dynamic work environment
  • Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of occupational health and safety, safety regulations and contractor duties
  • Communication skills & language: Very good German (C1) and good English skills (B2) as well as very good communication skills to successfully lead and motivate the team
  • Experience in the use of ERP systems
  • Very good knowledge of EXCEL and SHAREPOINT
  • Good communication and management skills across different departments and teams
  • Enthusiasm for technical details
  • Strong methodical, analytical and systematic way of working
