CAD-Designer (m/f/d), full-time

Location: 93092 Barbing near Regensburg

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Development and creation of constructive solutions in the field of advanced packaging systems.
  • Creation of complete assemblies in the SolidWorks CAD system.
  • Creation of drawings and parts lists.
  • Design and detailing of individual parts and assemblies for various manufacturing processes and different materials.
  • Reviewing existing design drawings, evaluating change proposals, and documenting changes.
  • Handling customer projects in design and development, as well as providing technical support in production, final assembly, and commissioning.
  • Technical contact person for customers, purchasing, and suppliers
    preparation of cost estimates and cost comparisons for individual parts and assemblies.
  • Supervision of prototype construction and testing, processing of change requests and implementation of changes, checking the feasibility and optimization of design drafts with work preparation.
  • Creation of schedules and timelines, coordination of projects and project processes with suppliers.
  • Transfer of our products to series production and close cooperation with production and quality assurance.
  • Monitoring of project deadlines.
  • Maintenance and documentation of inventory data and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Collaboration in international teams

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Completed apprenticeship as a technical product designer or bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics or comparable qualification
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the independent design of complete assemblies and systems
  • Experience in project management
  • Confident and proficient use of the SolidWorks CAD system
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legal requirements (SEMI, MRL)
  • Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking, and results-oriented approach, problem-solving skills
  • A hands-on mentality is a matter of course for you
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills and creativity to collaborate effectively with other departments, develop solutions, and work independently
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of ERP systems
  • Very good English and German skills
